Hamster Bowling on David Letterman

I got the idea for this when my boyfriend bought a clear ball for my hamster to run around in on the (cement) floor of our loft. I worked out the trick over many months, working with multiple hamsters and building the bowling set. When it was finally ready, I auditioned twice for Stupid Pet Tricks on Letterman alongside a group of people with all sorts of animals.

At the rehearsal, I was an alternate, but after the rehearsal, they moved me to first. I wasn’t expecting to be on at all, and especially not in two hours. When I got to work the next day, the whole ad agency was watching a recording of it together. I was recognized on the street a few times that day.
